weekending ...

Important side rant: Does anyone else out there rely on lists as heavily as I do to remember all that needs to get done?  If I don't have a written list with everything that needs to get done, I would n.e.v.e.r. remember even the most basic tasks.  This morning's list was big, as most Monday lists are ... phone calls that needed to be made, several different errand locations for today, a pretty long list of groceries, as well as some long-term projects and tasks - and clipped to the back of my list was an appointment reminder card from the vet and some grocery store coupons.  So it was beefy - and important.  Well somehow along the 2-hour route of my 7 stops between the dry cleaners and Trader Joe's, my list was lost - either dropped or forgotten as I rushed through my morning.  Drat!  And I have to tell you that I was completely paralyzed to arrive at Trader Joe's without that list - and beyond all of the groceries that were missed, I'm left to wonder about those phone calls that will never get made, the date of that vet appointment, and so many other mysteries ... I am completely adrift when it's not written down in front of me ... sigh ...

So while I try to strain my feeble memory and rebuild my weekly list, I'll do a Pam-style weekending post ... and I'll put a 10-on-10 style twist on it ...

not a huge fan of dogs in clothes, but this sweater is way too cute ...

yes indeed, my laptop and my pug bible ... never more than an arm's length away

soothing the pup before attempting our christmas card photo ...

with her typical little ladybug flair, she fashioned a pup-sized raincoat from orange duct tape

measuring for the matching booties ...

big fun for a puppy ...

does a patriots jersey for game day count as dog clothes?!  well too bad, it's staying ...

and everyone knows that a patriots jersey must be accompanied by a homemade helmet made from duct tape and paper clips ...

but will it fit?

success!  note: no animals were harmed in the making of this photo ...

Best animal post ever Sloan...definitely the cutest dog in all of blogland! He is too cute in that football outfit looking up at the camera! I thought Brady was cute in his patriots jersey (with Brady on the back of it!) when he was 2...but your guy wins! Hope we get to see your Christmas card!

PS. I'm the same way with the list thing...I write everything down and carry it with me and if I lose it...it's a terrible feeling.

isn't it amazing sometimes the thins you aren't a fan of that you end up doing?? Like bribing your children?:)

little ladybug is so very creative! I have one of those too! Give her something to create with and she goes crazy.

Lists?
All about them..you should see the scattering of post-it's on my desk right now. My problem is, I need to consolidate them all!!:)

Onward..that puppy of yours..is teeny! I can see how much your ladybug loves her, and her creativity...too much! LOVE it!

Did you just say you took your Christmas photo...will you come make my lists? Apparently mine are not nearly complete enough.

have a happy day sloan

It looks like puppy is fitting right in. The book for dummies made me laugh. I try to be a list maker but I find the list too overwhelming. Can't wait to see the Christmas photos.

Seriously I'm in love with your sweet little puppy. She is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I love her clothes, and the helmet. :)

I am such a list maker. I always have one or three going at all times. haha. I can only imagine how you felt when you lost yours. One time though, I was so overwhelmed with life, and Kevin dared me to rip up my lists....and I did. So, maybe you can see it as a little bit of freedom in a way?!

If I take the time to make a list, I will most definitely leave it at home. I am so unorganized.

These pictures ROCK, Sloan! Not only are your subjects adorable, but your camera skills smokin! Great job!

so cute! I see your girls are having him with her.

I always make a list and still forget stuff when I go to the store.
