weekending ...

Since you know from my last post how full our schedule's been these past 10 days or so, I'm going to reeeeally try my best this time to let go of the words and go totally Pam-style on this one ...

Aladdin ...
Stumbled through a few tiny but hilarious mishaps on Thursday's opening night.
Went off without a hitch on Friday night.
Ice cream Cast Party for the hard working middle school cast and crew.
Another great year for the drama group ...
Great first year, big ladybug!

(phone photo from afar - ugh)

Skate Show ...
 8am Dress Rehearsal
Opening numbers
Group routines
Closing numbers
Professional photographs
Quiet Saturday night (phew!)
Sunday sleep-in
Pancake breakfast
Showtime!

Big ladybug skates a Hannah Montana number with her glitzy purple group ...

Little ladybug skates a Lilo & Stitch number with her Hawaiian themed group ...

random sidebar: thank goodness for the Manbug snapping photos from the audience - otherwise I would have seen next to nothing, as I was a "group mom" in charge of getting 18 Hawaiian maidens on and off the ice at the far end of the rink (that equals 36 skate guards to get on and off each skate as they enter the ice - just in case you're wondering).  Sadly, the folks at the arena did not take down the hockey glass or netting (which you can see on our pics), but if that was the only bummer of the day, then things went well!

Roaring applause
Flowers and hugs
Smiley goodbyes
Another skate season has officially closed

Fondue dinner
Just Dance Wii
Sunday Sundaes
America's Funniest Home Videos
Aaaaah, the sweet comfort of bedtime ...
What a weekend!

I've just been catching up on your last three posts. I have a ten-year-old daughter. And she couldn't make that book jacket to save her life. Yeah, little ladybug is way talented.
I always wished I could take skating. How lucky your girls are, and darling to boot.
Hope life slows down now. It's almost spring!

What a weekend for sure! Love the girls skating and their costumes. We spent the weekend taking volleyball pics...fun to think there are girls and boys doing all sorts of things on the weekends...and the parents are there supporting them.
And wow ...you have been busy cooking and serving too.
Hope you have a laid back week!

so has the storm passed over yet?

Leslie's getting toward the end of her play too. . .School House Rock!
Practices are cranking up and the end is in sight!

Hope you have a relaxing week!

You're getting a little closer Sloan to Pam style on your weekending! :)

I think your pictures look good. IT's so hard to get sports pics. I tried to get a video of my son this evening playing tennis...through the nets...far away...they just don't turn out!

Your girls are so cute!

Holy Moly! We had very similar weeks. I was involved in way too much the past two weeks also. It's exciting, but exhausting. And then w/out being able to get to blogland I feel a little lost.
