I had wanted to post some of these adorable costumes a couple of weeks ago (btw, none of these photos are my own, they're just ones that caught my eye online) ... but (as is typical for me) I left it incomplete and it languished in my 'drafts' bin ... so alas, it's now untimely and belated - but still cute enough to push through ... they don't even need narration, so I'm not exactly sure why I let it go ... anyway, here they are - late, but still worth a smile or two ...

So with that, I now officially close the book on October ... so long farmer's market and autumn leaves, so long trick-or-treaters and candy corn, so long bright blue skies and fresh cool mornings ... hello, winter winds and comfort foods, hello holidays and family time ... Happy November, everyone!
