the first step is the hardest one ...

Starting my own blog has been an itch for about 4 months now ... it took 2 months last Fall just to figure out a name for it and how to set it all up, which took quite a bit of late-night trial and error for this ordinary gal! Once that was accomplished, I patted myself on the back and then promptly thought 'Oh no - now what do I SAY?!'

Answering that question has been another couple of months in the making - but today I'm ready to take the first step. I'll be brief, no need to purge in a single sitting all of the thoughts and ideas that have been swirling in my head ... those will come in time! So perhaps an introduction is an appropriate first step: my name is Sloan and this is my blog!!

I guess the next step of a blog introduction is answering 'who am I' and 'what brought me here' and 'what kind of blog will this be' - that will come next - I just felt it was important to get the ball rolling by making a first entry, no more hesitation. Now I feel like I'm truly committed to my resolution of creating my own blog - we have momentum here! I hope you'll stay tuned ...
